Huawei has pushed a May 2023 security update for the Huawei Nova Y61 smartphone and it comes with various new important patches for EMUI software. The company has released this upgrade in batches.

You should know that the May 2023 security update for Huawei Nova Y61 comes with EMUI 12.0.0.141. You will have to download a package size of 249 MB.

The phone runs EMUI 12 out of the box and the company should deliver it EMUI 13 but it’s not part of the upgrade plan.
