May 2023 update for Huawei FreeBuds Pro 2 is obtained from the global model with firmware version 3.0.0.230. As you can see that the FreeBuds Pro 2 is running HarmonyOS 3.0. And the latest update only weighs 4MB.

You should know that both of the earphones should be charged over 20%. Also, do not disconnect the earbuds while installing the latest software update. Furthermore, it may take a few minutes to transfer the OTA package.
