Huawei Nova 8 likely to equip MediaTek Dimensity 700 processor, could launch next month

Earlier this month, Huawei introduced the Huawei Nova 8 SE with 66W super-fast charging, a new Dimensity 720 and 800U processor, 64MP quad-camera, and more. Moving on, the company seems to in preparation to launch new mainstream Nova 8 smartphones with the latest Dimensity chip.

Tipster – DigitalChatStation recently shared some information on an upcoming Huawei smartphone that features Dimensity 700 processor. It features a 6.5-inch LCD display with FHD+ resolution, 60Hz refresh rate, 16MP selfie camera, a quad rear camera setup consisting of 48MP+8MP+2MP+2MP. This Huawei phone will pack a 4000mAh battery with 40W fast charging.

Apart from these specs, the tipster didn’t confirm the identity of the phone. However, another well-known tipster, DigitalKing drops some lead that could relate to this matter.

According to the tipster, Huawei is planning to launch the Nova 8 series by next month (December 2020), which is likely to be the same launch month as the Honor V40 series.

As of now, there are no official announcements have been made on this matter but we’ll keep you posted.
