Huawei Nova 7i is receiving October 2021 security update

Huawei has started to rollout a new software update for the quad camera-powered Huawei Nova 7i smartphone. This new software rollout comes with October 2021 security update and improves system security for a safe user experience.

According to the information, the Huawei Nova 7i October 2021 security update comes with EMUI 10.1 version 10.1.0.363 and an update package size of 183 megabytes. The latest software update is rolling out gradually. So, be patient and download the update as it may appear soon on your Nova 7i device.

You can download the latest Huawei Nova 7i October 2021 security update by going into Settings, then System & updates, followed by Software updates, and CHECK FOR UPDATES. If an update is available Download and Install the software package and wait while the update installs on your smartphone.

On the other hand, you can also request software updates through the Support app. To do this, open the Support app, go to the Service tab on the bottom bar, tap on the update, then select Check for updates and then download and install.

According to the official information, Huawei has already confirmed EMUI 12 for the Nova 7i, and its rollout is likely to start in the first half of 2022. Although, the Nova 7i didn’t receive EMUI 11 but the upgrade on the next major software is still surprising for the consumers.
