Huawei Nova 7 series set to launch on April 23, features Waterfall display, Kirin 985, Periscope 50X zoom camera

Huawei today confirmed that the new Nova smartphones – Huawei Nova 7 series will launch on April 23 in China. In addition, there’s also some information about this upcoming Nova 7 series appeared.

The promo render of Huawei Nova 7 series leaked recently on Weibo, reveals a vertically placed quad-camera setup including a periscope camera with 50X digital zoom.

Similar to the Honor 30 Pro, the display of Huawei Nova 7 series will equip a 70-degree curved waterfall display with hole-punch design to house two front cameras.

Also, the phone series will include a model powered by Kirin 985 5G chipset. It was speculated that the phone series will come with three chipsets but it seems like there will only be two of them – Kirin 985 and Kirin 820. However, a confirmation is yet to come.

Previous reports reveal that Huawei Nova 7 series will include three models – Huawei Nova 7, Nova 7 Pro and Nova 7 SE all with 5G connectivity. Also, the Huawei Nova 7 and 7 Pro already certified with 40W charging.
