Huawei Nova 5T gets upgraded on April EMUI security

Huawei has started recruiting Huawei Nova 5T users for the EMUI 10.1 beta test in limited countries, which may soon expand to other markets.

On the other side, the Nova 5T users on EMUI 10.0 getting a new software update with security improvement of April 2020. However, there’s no additional changes mentioned in the changelog.

The April 2020 security update for Huawei Nova 5T brings security patches from Google and brings fixes to 5 critical, 12 high and 1 medium levels of Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures (CVE).

Huawei Nova 5T EMUI VERSIONS:

This new update for Huawei Nova 5T comes with EMUI version 10.0.0.201 and a software package size of 119MB.

CHECK FOR THE UPDATE:

Open Support app
Click on ‘Services’ tab
Click on ‘Update’
Click on ‘CHECK FOR UPDATES’
Click on ‘Download and install’

Via Settings:

Open Settings
Click on ‘System & updates’
Click on ‘Software update’
Click on ‘CHECK FOR UPDATES’
Click on ‘Download and install’
