Huawei Nova 3 is receiving a new HarmonyOS 2.0.0.106 software update. The software update has two aspects and its beta testing part includes fixes and optimization, while the other one consists of lots of new features.

The Huawei Nova 3 HarmonyOS 2.0.0.106 update is rolling out for the public beta testers and it brings new display and system optimizations for the existing beta testers. On the other hand, EMUI 9.1 users of the phone can directly upgrade to HarmonyOS 2.0.0.106 and get all of the latest features and the user interfaces at an instance without worrying about closed beta testing.

Huawei Nova 3 is announced as a part of the public HarmonyOS beta testing activity, the phone has already installed the latest software update as early as it was made available by the phone manufacturer.

Huawei Nova 3 HarmonyOS 2.0.0.106 for beta testers:

  • Display: Fix the problem that the battery icon in the status bar of some scenes is displayed abnormally.

Huawei Nova 3 HarmonyOS 2.0.0.106 for new users:

HarmonyOS 2.0 offers a brand new user interface including the new interactive home screen with resizable widgets. The new features of the HarmonyOS also deliver the all-in-one control panel, service center, super device, and much more to provide a next-level user experience.

Huawei Nova 3:

Huawei Nova 3 comes with a dual rear AI camera and a dual front camera system. The phone is powered by the Kirin 970 processor, it has a 6.3-inch display with FHD+ resolution and 6GB + 128GB of onboard storage. Huawei Nova 3 has a 3750mAh battery with 18W fast charging.

This phone comes with an Android 8.1 powered EMUI 8.2 operating system that received a major upgrade over EMUI 9.1. However, the device was later forgotten by the company but the installation of HarmonyOS has revived all of the memories of this smartphone and its users.

Still, the reach of HarmonyOS for the Nova 3 remained enclosed in China but we could hope for a major upgrade in the future if HarmonyOS actually makes a global debut.
