Huawei MatePad 2 and Watch 3 series to unveil on June 2, launch poster allegedly leaked
In the past weeks, the numbers of new Huawei smart products from different sections such as smartphones, tablets, and more are in limelight along with the major HarmonyOS operating system, which can be launched at upcoming press conferences.
Recently, Huawei has confirmed that the next product launch conference is scheduled to happen on May 19 at 15:00 in China. At the event, the company will unveil the latest Smart Screens. Meanwhile, there is a possibility that it may also reveal children’s watch 4X, Body Fat Scale 3 Pro, MateBook, and more.
But what about the next month? Well, Huawei has some big launches ready for June too, so the answer yes. That’s why the Chinese tech giant will not launch all of the anticipated flagships in a single press conference this month.
To make product launches more interesting, a tipster has sent us a launch promo post of Huawei’s possible devices in June is recently leaked, which suggests that Huawei MatePad 2 and Watch 3 series will arrive on June 2.
According to the information, Huawei’s premium tablet, MatePad Pro 2 will come in two large 12-inch screen variants and new smart features to increase user’s experience on a large display. On the other hand, the flagship Watch 3 series will consist of two variants Watch 3 and Watch 3 Pro.
Previously, Huawei launched its smartwatches under the existing Watch GT series, but the company seems to be changing the naming convention for the next installment of the smartwatch lineup and may call it Huawei Watch 3 instead of Watch GT 3. Similarly, the MatePad Pro 2 is mentioned as MatePad 2 in place of MatePad Pro 2.
As per leaked information, both MatePad Pro 2 and the Watch 3 series will be powered by fully developed HarmonyOS, which could be the main reason behind the late launching of these devices.
By inspecting the image you can find that it clearly promotes the upbringing of the HarmonyOS along with these devices. And if you look closely, you’ll also find a smartwatch figure inside the round shape orb below the HarmonyOS text.
The watch seems to have a Watch GT 2e like watch face but since it’s not clear, we cannot draw any conclusion from that.
Is this launch poster real?
Currently, Huawei has not confirmed the official launch date of the MatePad 2 and Watch 3. But we cannot deny a possibility, because it meets the launch date leaked in the previous report nor we cannot confirm its legitimacy.
Currently, Huawei has not announced any details regarding the June press conference date and products yet. Stay tuned, for more updated information.

Huawei MatePad 11 2023 specs leaked ahead of the unveiling on March 23 and the company will use Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 chipset for this upcoming tablet.
The leaked specs revealed that Huawei MatePad 11 2023 tablet comes in two versions – a flat panel and a soft panel screen designed with various features. There are four colors to choose from including purple, obsidian black, island blue, and crystal white.
Tipster DigitalChatStation says that the MatePad 11 2023 is equipped with an 11-inch screen with 2560 x 1600 pixels resolution. It will provide a high scale viewing experience with a 120Hz refresh rate.
The tab utilizes 8GB RAM and 128GB/256GB internal storage variants. It packs a big 7250mAh battery to provide a long-lasting power backup. You can recharge this device with a 22.5W super fast charger.
Don’t forget that the MatePad 11 2023 will be powered by HarmonyOS 3.1 operating system along with a number of new features optimized for such a large screen. On the flip hand, the initial generation device is the first to come with HarmonyOS 2 in 2021.
The standard and WiFi versions are equipped with WiFi connectivity. But we can’t deny the possibility for the LTE model.

Huawei MatePad 11 2023 also appeared on Geekbench with model number DBR-W10. It achieved a single-core performance of 914 points and 3058 points on the multi-core benchmark.
Interestingly, the software that Geekbench recognized is based on Android 12. In that case, you should know that HarmonyOS comes with open-source Android project libraries, that’s how it’s observed as Android.
The tablet has Snapdragon 870 octa-core chip, while its predecessor featured Snapdragon 865 mobile platform.
Soft screen version:
This tablet is designed with innovation, and it brings anti-glare eye protection, paper-like reading, and writing user experience. You should know that the new screen can eliminate 97% of the direct light reflection in the environment.
The tablet also has a single camera on the rear side along with an LED flash to support your rear side photographs.

Huawei MatePad 11 2023 soft screen design revealed by TUV Rheinland
Huawei MatePad 11 is one of the most powerful tablets and it is now receiving one of the most productive software upgrades that will take to the HarmonyOS 3 operating system.
Huawei has released a brand new software update for the global Huawei MatePad 11 users and it comes with HarmonyOS build version 3.0.0.197. The package is huge at 4.94Gb, reflecting the characteristics of this major software.
Before we jump into the details, you should know that Huawei MatePad 11 is one of the first tablets to run the HarmonyOS operating system for global consumers. Since then, Huawei established HarmonyOS as the sole software for global tablet devices.
It’s also the first tablet to come with a flagship Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset. That has a pre-installed HarmonyOS 2 version, which will now upgrade the experience with HarmonyOS 3. This latest development comes after the device completed its successful testing and installation in China.
What’s new?
The changelog reveals HarmonyOS 3 new service widget management tool. This includes stack widgets, which you can form by dragging the widgets of the same size on top of each other. You swipe up or down to switch between widgets.
Swipe down further to expand the stack and swipe left on a widget to remove it. Hole and drag a widget to adjust its position in the stack or drag it to the home screen.
Other than that widget combo is also there, you can drag widgets of different sizes and app shortcuts together to group them into a combo. You later adjust the combo size or use a combo template.
There’s another important feature that comes to the Huawei MatePad 11 is smart folders, which I liked the most. You can adjust a folder size based on the number of apps within it.
The new super device supports connecting to and interacting with more device types via Super Device, without even having to be logged in to the same Huawei ID.
Other than that, the new media controller fetches audio sharing with two connected FreeBuds earphones and listens to music simultaneously.
SuperHub is an addition that will give the major capability to MatePad 11 users. It allows you to share multiple forms of content between apps, and devices at a single time, by dragging text, images, and files to SuperHub.
Furthermore, the new notes app adds features such as importing notes in multiple formats, editing and converting handwritten notes to text, and recognizing notes. There are also new features and improvements made to the security and privacy section, which you should explore.

On March 23, at Spring Flagship New Product Launch Conference, Huawei will launch a new commercial thin and light notebook – Qingyun G540, which has a unique new design and it is drop resistant
Looking at the promo, Huawei Qingyun G540 is something different than the consumer version of MateBook. This new notebook has a built-in cam protector, which you close or opens with a physical button beside the front-facing camera.
It has a 180-degree hinge mechanism that allows you to open the notebook flat on a table. Also, the keyboard is the spill-resistant keyboard. Lastly, Huawei Qingyun G540 brings a unique new capability of being drop resistant, which is something new to the entire notebook lineup.
However, you should know that the latest Huawei Qingyun G540 notebook comes under the commercial lineup of the notebook series. Also, it’s a new product genre than the MateBook series.
This notebook is already listed on the official website and it comes in only one color option – Space gray. This notebook is powered by Windows 11 Home Chinese Edition. It is 325 mm wide, 218mm depth, 17.2mm height, and weighs approx 1.39kg with a 42 wh battery and a different weight for a 56Wh battery.
The display expands at 14 inches with an IPS panel, 16:9 screen ratio, 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution, up to 300 nits brightness, 60Hz refresh rate, 45% NTSC color gamut, 100% sRGB, and up to 178-degree viewing angle.
There are three chipset options including the 12th Generation Intel Core i7-1260P Processor, the 12th Generation Intel Core i5-1240P Processor, and the 12th Generation Intel Core i5-1235U Processor.
