Huawei’s upcoming Watch GT 3 smartwatch to be called Huawei Watch 3

To date, Huawei launched a number of smartwatches for its consumers such as the Huawei Watch GT 2, GT 2 Pro, GT 2e, Watch Fit, and more with the latest design and software technology.
Last September, Huawei has revealed a new member in the existing Watch GT 2 family, Huawei Watch GT 2 Pro for global users with a luxury design, 1.39-inch circular sapphire glass with 454 x 454 pixels resolution, and touch screen support. However, in the Chinese market, this watch came in October 2020 with Mate 40 lineup.

In the recent past, some sources hint that Huawei is preparing to unveil the new smart-wearable, which could be named Huawei Watch GT 3.
Recently, a Weibo tipster – Courage Digital King leaks some information about the upcoming smart wearable. He discloses that Huawei will launch the coming watch with a brand new name, Huawei Watch 3 instead of the expected Watch GT 3.
Apart from this, the leaker doesn’t disclose many details of the upcoming Huawei Watch 3 regarding launch date, specifications, features, and more.
As recently, on March 17, Huawei has debuted the new version of the existing Watch Fit in the global market, Watch Fit Elegant Edition comes with a stylish rectangular design and brings a full suite of fitness features.

Huawei Watch D2 blood pressure smartwatch is coming this year

Huawei Watch D2 blood pressure measurement smartwatch could launch later this year, says a tipster. As we look forward to the next version of the Watch D health-oriented smart wearable.
According to the information coming from a Weibo tipster, Huawei is preparing to launch a new blood pressure measurement smartwatch and it will come in the second half of this year.
The tipster didn’t reveal any further details about this upcoming device. But there’s only one Huawei smartwatch that has identical traits and it is the Huawei Watch D.
For now, Huawei has not announced the details of the Huawei Watch D2. However, we can look into the current version to get a better understanding of what we’re actually talking about.
Huawei Watch D:
Huawei Watch D is made with new intricate blood pressure components in that wrist-size compact device. It has 2.5D curved glass along with a durable aluminum alloy frame. Also, there are two buttons for the home screen and the health features.
The main functionality of this device is derived from the high-precision pressure sensor, meticulous pressure feedback controls, and less air resistance.
This smartwatch brings a macromolecular tensile strap, ergonomically-arced airbag, and butterfly clasp. This makes the watch stable during inflation, to enhance the precision of impromptu blood pressure readings.
The Watch D takes care of all of the reading using the Huawei TruBP blood pressure algorithm, which is based on a cascade model. It also has different blood pressure patterns, which include smart measurement assistance, abnormal posture detection, and other important functionalities.
It also has customizable smart blood pressure reminders. These allow you to set custom measurement plans, then the watch will remind you to conduct a measurement on the scheduled timeline.
There are other important check-ins for example an insight into all of the blood pressure-related issues, exercise, and weight. These insights help you to improve your diet and health care.

Another powerful capability of this smartwatch comes with ECG Analysis. The Huawei Watch D not only measures BP but also has a high-performance ECG sensor to provide single-lead ECG measurement.

HarmonyOS 3 for Huawei Watch GT 3 series is expanding in the global market. It allows more Watch GT 3 series owners to install the new features and start using them right away.
Last month, Huawei began to release HarmonyOS 3 for Huawei Watch GT 3 Chinese models. Within a few days, the company rolled out this upgrade for the global market. The software update for Huawei Watch GT 3 series brings many new features, which aim to improve the smartwatch.
If you want to download this software, open the Huawei Health app and then tap on the update section to grab new firmware. According to the information, this major upgrade has an OTA package size of 90 megabytes. You should know that the update package transfer may take some time and installation.

Quick replies are getting new optimizations, you can now send quick replies to social apps including Line, Viber, and Instagram directly from your smartwatch. This function supports EMUI and Android devices (other than HarmonyOS).

There are two earbuds resting inside the smartwatch using the magnetic array. The earbuds are easy to wear and air-like light with 4 grams each.
Despite its minimalistic design, the earbuds support wide-area touch controls to tap on the earbuds to answer/reject calls or manage play tracks. Tap three times to enable/disable noise cancellation. You can also customize these tap control.
