Huawei is rolling out the latest HarmonyOS 2.0.0.220 software update for Huawei MatePad 10.4 tablet. As per information, this update adds a new function for the stylus as well as installs the December 2021 security improvements.

According to the changelog, Huawei MatePad 10.4 HM OS 2.0.0.220 update brings a global annotation and a new one-click excerpt function to improve the user experience of the stylus.

Also, the December 2021 HarmonyOS security patch fixes 1 CVE in framework, 2 CVEs in Kernel, 3 CVEs in the system, 3 CVEs in applications, and 62 CVEs in the third-party libraries for enhanced system security.

  • Huawei MatePad 10.4 inches (BAH3-W59)
  • Huawei MatePad 10.4 inches (BAH3-AL00)

Stylus Pen:

  • Added global annotation function, you can make an annotation on any interface.
  • New one-click excerpt function that allows you can take a screenshot of the area, and drag and drop it to the note-taking software.

Security:

  • Installs December 2021 HarmonyOS security patch to better system security.

HOW TO UPDATE:

Download via Settings:

  • Open Settings
  • Click on the System & Updates
  • Open Software update
  • Tap on Check for updates option
  • If an update is available, click on Download and install
  • After installation Reboot the device

Download via My Huawei app:

  • Open the My Huawei app on your device
  • Go to the Update
  • Follow the on-screen instructions
