The Chinese tech maker has also shared its teaser image, which we’re going to explore a bit later on. However, the one thing is for sure the company is looking to proceed with the 2020’s Mate Xs smartphone.

Talking about the device, the phone has a unique horizontal foldable hinge design that opens and closes in a side-by-side direction. Next, the phone only features a large display panel that folds accordingly.

Looking at the teaser, the image doesn’t have much to see but it surely hints us towards the outward folding scheme as it processor. This mechanism is different than the Huawei Mate X2, which offers two displays, one on the cover and a second one on the inside that works as the primary viewing solution.
