Huawei Mate X reportedly get another launch delay due to further optimizations

Huawei Mate 20 X 5G has already made its way to the markets around the world but Huawei’s first-ever foldable phone has yet received another delay on its launching.

According to a press event organized at Huawei’s headquarter in Shenzhen China, the company has decided to delay not to launch Huawei Mate X by September and the new launch date maybe November, reported TechRadar.

As previously, the company has delayed it for September to fight against Samsung Galaxy Fold and after this new report the company has left the ground open for the Fold. However, the company is certain that Mate X will launch it before the end of 2019.

The source also learned that there are new changes on Mate X (That we also spotted) including with slimmer lock button and there are some improvements made in the hinge.

Additionally, the company has tried replacing the steel back panel with aluminum to cut final weight but the final decision was made to readd the steel back.

The company has also made other experiments on the device but the final touches are yet to be made and we’ll be waiting to see if Huawei Mate X meets the November launch date.
