Finally, a piece of good news for the Huawei Mate 9 and Huawei P10 series users. Today, Huawei has officially announced that the EMUI 9.0 update is now available for the Huawei Mate 9 and Huawei P10 series. Currently, this update is limited to China but soon will be available all around the world.

EMUI 9: Top features that make it new, beautiful and different

Here’s the list:

  • Huawei Mate 9
  • Huawei Mate 9 Pro
  • Huawei Mate 9 Porsche Design
  • Huawei P10
  • Huawei P10 Plus



Users of the above models can upgrade to the latest EMUI 9.0 system by opening [Member Service] or [Services] APP – Service – Upgrade.

It is worth mentioning that this is second major Android OS update for the Huawei Mate 9, Mate 9 Porsche design, Mate 9 Pro, P10, P10 Plus.

What is EMUI 9.0? The EMUI 9.0 is Huawei’s custom Android P-based operating system (OS) developed to “Enable a Quality Life” with improved performance and new features that will enable an enhanced and intuitive user experience to customers.
