Huawei Mate 70 series tipped to pre-install HarmonyOS NEXT

Huawei Mate 70 series and the stable HarmonyOS NEXT are expected to appear on the consumer stage in the second half of this year. And there is a possibility that the upcoming flagship Mate smartphones could pre-install the new software system.

The Chinese tech giant has already unveiled the developer preview of the HarmonyOS NEXT and might kick off the beta version somewhere in the second quarter of this year.

Huawei has announced that around 4000 native apps adapted to the HarmonyOS ecosystem. Most of them have completed the beta stage and stepping into the official version. Making this news more exciting, the tipster @FixedFocus says that we may see HarmonyOS NEXT with the Mate 70 series smartphones.

Even though the company has not given any exact time frame for its new OS, the Huawei Consumer Business Group CEO – Yu Chengdong quoted that the official HarmonyOS NEXT version will meet consumers in Q4 2024.

Huawei Mate 70 series, on the other hand, is in rumor to launch by mid-October this year. Thus we can expect that both amazing products could show up together.
