Within a month of launch, Huawei is already pushing the fourth software update for the Mate 60 Pro flagship and it comes with a package full of new features and optimizations.

The new software update for the Huawei Mate 60 Pro comes with HarmonyOS 4.0.0.121 firmware version. But the update package weighs at over 1.5GB to download on the smartphone.

This new update for Huawei Mate 60 Pro installs a new gallery photo comparison feature. It also installs a live view/window switch. The new firmware will optimize the stability and experience of calling capability.

Last but not least, the phone will get a better viewing experience in display and UI. Check the full changelog below.

Gallery

  • Newly added picture comparison feature, you can select multiple pictures to be grouped for efficient comparison,
    and easily select the ideal picture.

Settings

  • A new display live window switch is added, which can individually control whether the real-time task status
    of the application is displayed in the live window (Settings > Notifications and Status Bar> Status Bar > Show Live Window).

Phone

  • Optimize call stability and improve call experience

System

  • Optimize the overall system stability and optimize some interface display effects.

Huawei Mate 60 Pro first installed HarmonyOS 4.0.0.111 software with camera and system optimizations. Later on, the phone received 4.0.0.113 and 4.0.0.116 releases with further improvements for the software. This new features update for Huawei Mate 60 Pro comes in batches. It could be installed manually via Settings.
