The teaser 3 of the Huawei Mate 40 series shows new and improved screen wake up features. The screen wake feature already exists in Huawei smartphones as Raise to wake up and Tap to wake. However, it’s currently not revealed what we’ll be going to see in terms of improvements.

October 17, 2020: Teaser 2

Huawei has published a new teaser of the Huawei Mate 40 series, which suggests that this upcoming flagship lineup will equip improved air gestures compared to its predecessor.

Air gestures initially introduced with last year’s Huawei Mate 30 series and allow users to perform some tasks without touching the display.

Also, the initial features include taking a screenshot, scrolling the page or gallery item, or even a web page by just moving your hand in the air in front of the camera.

In the first teaser, Huawei hints the Mate 40 series will come with a 90Hz display, which improves the performance of the user interface as well as user experience.
