Amid EMUI 13 beta activity, Huawei Mate 40 Pro global users are now getting March 2023 security patch. This upgrade improves the phone’s safety aspects with the latest EMUI + Android software solutions.

March 2023 security patch for Huawei Mate 40 Pro comes with EMUI firmware version 12.0.0.315. This software reaches consumers with a batch rollout. However, all of the Mate 40 Pro global model owners are suggested to grab the new update as soon as it arrives.

Mate 30 Pro, P40 Pro:

Recently, Huawei Mate 30 Pro and P40 Pro also received March 2023 security patches. These phones are currently in low priority upgrade cycle because of the inactive schedule. Why? Because Huawei is delaying some software releases for both Huawei P40 Pro and Mate 30 Pro. However, there’s still much room to improve the user experience of both devices.

EMUI 13:

Meanwhile, Huawei EMUI 13 is raising some anticipation for all of these device users. Huawei is testing the beta of this new version in Malaysia and neighboring countries. Also, the program is only limited to the Huawei P50 Pro, P50 Pocke, and Mate Xs 2.

Therefore, Huawei Mate 30 Pro, Mate 40 Pro and P40 Pro phones will have to wait in order to get a booking for EMUI 13 beta. But there’s no actual time frame available, which, we’ll keep you posted.
