Huawei Mate 30, 30 Pro and Honor 9X debuts in the Global EMUI Security Update Cycle

Launched in September 2019, Huawei Mate 30 series comprises Huawei Mate 30, Mate 30 Pro, Mate 30 5G, Mate 30 Pro 5G, Mate 30 RS Porsche Design.

Even after six months of its launch, Huawei didn’t add the devices in the Monthly EMUI security cycle. But with the release of the May 2020 EMUI security bulletin, Huawei made some fresh changes for the Mate 30 series.

Huawei has officially inducted Huawei Mate 30 series phones for security patches. According to the official listing, Huawei Mate 30 and Mate 30 Pro now added to the Monthly security update section. While the phone series currently runs on March security update outside of China.

Other Phones in the monthly category:

Huawei P30, P30 Pro, Mate 20 Series, Honor 20 series, Honor View20, Honor 10 as well as Honor 10 lite.

Honor 9X:

Next comes, Honor 9X the devices was initially introduced in July last year in China. In late 2019, Honor launched the global version of Honor 9X with Google Mobile Services and made it available in almost every Honor Market around the globe.

Now Honor 9X has also made its debut in the security patch list. Instead of receiving monthly, the Honor 9X will get quarterly updates.
