Huawei Mate 30 Pro receiving March EMUI security update

Huawei Mate 30 series is a flagship lineup that is eligible for EMUI 10.1 and it’s under beta testing in China. EMUI 10.1 has plenty of new features including the new user experience.

On the other hand, some of the global users of Huawei Mate 30 Pro receiving a new software update that brings March EMUI security improvements. However, there are no additional changes noted in the Changelog.

The March 2020 EMUI security includes Google security patches and fixes for 2 critical and 20 high levels of Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures (CVE).

EMUI VERSIONS:

Huawei Mate 30 Pro receiving March 2020 security update with EMUI version 10.0.0.204 and 199MB software size.

Last month, Huawei Mate 30 series in China received the EMUI 10.0.0.205 update with optimizations for network and system. But the same improvements are not reflected in the current changelog.

Via Settings:

Open Settings
Click on ‘System & updates
Click on ‘Software update
Click on ‘CHECK FOR UPDATES
Click on ‘Download and install

Via Support:

Open Support app
Click on ‘Services’ tab
Click on ‘Update
Click on ‘CHECK FOR UPDATES
Click on ‘Download and install
