Breaking: First sales of Huawei Mate 30 series 5G recorded 100 million yuan ($14 mil) per minute

On November 1 at 10:08 China time, Huawei Mate 30 series 5G’s first official sales recorded 100 million yuan ($14.1 million) worth of sales per minute on Vmall. The sale lasted for 7 minutes ended at 10:15, which makes it a record total of 700 million ($99 million).

According to a rough calculation, the 5G version of the Mate 30 series sold about 10,000 units per minute. However, the official count of shipped units including other eCommerce platforms is yet to be confirmed.

Also, some of the colors including Orange and Forest Green sold out in a few seconds. Moreover, some of the orders are scheduled to be delivered before November 21 and some are extended by December 6.

Both Mate 30 5G and Mate 30 Pro 5G are available in six color options including Orange, Cosmic Purple, Space Silver, Black, Forest Green, and Emerald Green.
