According to the latest information, Huawei has silently put Huawei P40 4G version on its officially online store on JD.com at a price of 3998 yuan (617 USD) compared to the P40 5G at 4488 (693 USD). It was noted Huawei doesn’t sell any unit and currently, it is out of stock and the next sale is targeted for February 27.

In the past, Huawei released the P40 series with 5G support. But due to the Trump government sanctions on Huawei, restricts American companies to sell smartphone parts and 5G technology components.

Following these sanctions, Huawei is facing a lot of difficulties in the production of new devices. Also, the Huawei P40 lineup is one of the best-selling smartphones in the P series and it could also be the reason behind the launch of the P40 4G smartphone and to expand its reach to more consumers.
