Huawei Kirin 9000 can convert 540p video to 1080p using super resolution technology

Huawei revealed the Hisilicon Kirin 9000 5G soc on October 22, at the global launch conference along with Huawei’s latest annual flagship series, Huawei Mate 40 series.

The Huawei Mate 40 Pro, Mate 40 Pro+, and Mate 40 RS launched with pre-equipped Kirin 9000 processor, latest hardware, and software technology, which is now open for sale.

Kirin 9000 chipset comes with three-level architecture with eight-core including 3.13 GHz Cortex A77 large core and three medium core 2.54GHz A77 and four small core 2.05GHz, 24 -core Mali-G78, Kirin Gaming+3.0 and more.

Huawei has tested the HiSilicon Kirin 9000 chip and released super division technology demonstration video, which makes 480/540-pixel video into 1080 pixels Full HD resolution.

This technology is similar to photo restoration technology in which it can also identify noise based on the detection network for denoising, local optimization for face detection based on the detection network, earrings and clothing based on the generation network, hair, and other details are repaired.
