Huawei has recently released the latest update for HMS Core 6.2 PC version with version 6.2.0.301. The HMS Core is mainly designed to support multiple devices and operating systems across all scenarios.

According to Chinese media (ithome), Huawei Mobile Service Core (HMS Core) 6.2.0.31 update added support for Windows 11, and remote login to use HMS Core. In addition, it also optimizes the HMS Core user experience to provide the best services.

On October 22, Huawei hosted the Huawei Developer Conference (HDC) 2021 and launched the new HMS Core 6. It is open-source for all different types of operating systems and provides cross-operating system functionality.

Huawei HMS Core 6 new orders 69 developer kits, 21,738 APIS in 7 different categories. The HMS Core also opened 13 new capabilities, 18 enhanced capabilities, and 13 cross-OS capabilities consisting of various operating systems.

These operating systems are HarmonyOS, Android, OpenHarmony, Windows, iOS, Linux supports HMS Core 6.0 on various device platforms includes smartphones, tablets, PCs, Smart TVs, Smartwatches, Earphones, Smart Speaker, Smart Glasses, Smart Car and more

To make the development a bit easy, Huawei has opened HMS Core for third-party development frameworks such as React, Cordova, and more. It mainly focuses on key aspect areas of development – Graphics, Media, AI, App Services, and systems.

Moreover, during the HDC 2021, Huawei’s Consumer Business Cloud Services President and Huawei Cloud CEO Zhang Ping’an said that the HMS ecosystem currently has 5.1 million developers, HMS Core’s global application integration increased by 81% to 173,000, and global developer revenue increased by 62%.
