Huawei Nova 5T October 2021 update is rolling out, what about EMUI 12?
Huawei Nova 5T is receiving a new software update in the global market that comes with October 2021 security patch and improves the system security with the latest improvements. According to the changelog, the October 2021 Huawei Nova 5T update drops with EMUI 11 version 11.0.0.181 and an update package size of 178 megabytes.
There are a few things that you need about the Huawei Nova 5T October 2021 update. First, the update is rolling out in batches, therefore, it may take some time to reach your device. Second, back up your important data to prevent the loss of any important file. Third, maintain sufficient storage to download the update package.
To download the latest Nova 5T software update, follow the instructions below.
Open the Settings app, open System & updates > Software update > CHECK FOR UPDATES > please wait while the phone checks available software update. If available press DOWNLOAD and install to proceed with the software installation. Remember, your device won’t be operated during the installation procedure, so be patient and wait while the update installs.

According to the official EMUI 12 roadmap, Huawei Nova 5T is also eligible to receive this major software upgrade. However, the testing or the rollout time is still unconfirmed but the Nova 5T is likely to begin its EMUI 12 journey somewhere in the first half of 2022.
