Huawei FreeBuds Pro getting charging and Bluetooth stability with latest firmware update

Back in September, Huawei revealed the world’s first true wireless stereo (TWS) at the Huawei Seamless AI Life New Product Global Launch Event, FreeBuds Pro. This wearable comes with intelligent dynamic noise cancellation so the listener can have an immersive sound experience.

After the official revealing, Huawei delivering regular software and feature updates for FreeBuds Pro that enhance the user’s experience. Now, for further improvements, the company has begun sending a new firmware update for these earbuds.

According to the changlog, this update brings new improvements for charging success rate for better battery life, and stability of Bluetooth connection that improves connectivity.

Moreover, Huawei has introduced its FreeBuds 4i latest true wireless earbuds in the global market last month. These earbuds offer Active Noise Cancellation (ANC), 10 hours of Continuous Playback for the long use case, and come with a 3D bionic design.

New Firmware version: Huawei FreeBuds Pro getting version 1.0.0.356 upgraded from 1.9.0.292 with an update size of 2.75 MB.

POINTS TO KEEP IN MIND:

  • Maintain battery at least 30% in both the devices.
  • Always put earbuds into the charging case and keep the case open(during update).
  • Pair earbuds with your phone again before charging and updating

HOW TO UPDATE:

  1. Open the AI Life app.
  2. Make sure the earphones have been connected to your phone and earphones are placed inside the charging case, leave the charging case open, then select the corresponding card for your earphones to access the device’s home screen.
  3. Touch Check for updates.
  4. If an update is available, touch UPDATE.
  5. Wait until the update is complete.
  6. After the update is complete, close the charging case and wait for 10 minutes for the case to be automatically updated.

Besides this, it was reported that Huawei is preparing to launch the next wearables, FreeBuds 4, whose official unveiling is expected to happen in May 2021. More information is not available yet. Stay in touch for further updates.
