Huawei Founder says he would be the first to oppose if China retaliates against Apple

Recently US president Donald Trump has played all of its cards to ban The Chinese telecom giant and on the other hand, the company’s founder Ren Zhengfei said he would oppose any same move China take against the iPhone company.

In a recent interview with Bloomberg, when being asked about China’s retaliation against Apple, Ren replied he would protest against any such action.



“That (Chinese retaliation against Apple) will not happen first of all and second of all, if that happens, I’ll be the first to protest,” said Ren.

In Mid-May, the US Commerce Department added Huawei into the trade blacklist and imposed restrictions that’ll make it very difficult for the company to do business with American firms.

Following the US Commerce Department, Google, Microsoft, Intel, Qualcomm, Broadcom, and ARM also suspended its business with Huawei and canceled sharing hardware, software.
