In today’s scenario, a dual SIM device is very usable. It lets you take a great advantage as you can have a separate contact list on both cards and both network accessing: foreign and local network.

As of now, every mobile manufacturer launched their smartphones with dual SIM accessibility, so you can enjoy a high internet speed carrier as well as a high-speed mobile network carrier.

But sometimes it became hectic if you need to switch between your SIM cards for accessibility. You have to struggle in the setting panel or have to do it by long pressing on the mobile data icon present at your shortcuts in the notification panel.

Huawei always introduces new features that make user’s tasks easier. The latest EMUI 11 custom user interface brings a simple way to switch between the SIM cards as easy as tapping on your smartphone.

Before EMUI 11 Installations:

Either you have to do it by long pressing on the mobile data icon in your quick access panel or via Setting> tap on Network/Dual SIM (according to the option available on your phone)> choose network (select SIM)

After EMUI 11 Installation

  • You will see a drop-down arrow under the Mobile data shortcut switch in the notification panel.
  • Click the arrow (it will allow switching between your default and secondary SIM cards easily)
  • A pop-up window appears on the screen with the SIM cards option, select the SIM card for access.
