Huawei and Honor devices receiving new small patch for settings improvements

Nowadays EMUI 10.1 a hot topic among Huawei and Honor device users, and eligible device owners are impatiently waiting to install this update as soon as possible.

In the midst of EMUI 10.1 rollout, Huawei is sending a small update patch for its device owners that we’ve recently noticed. The update mainly improves system settings and currently, we don’t have any information on the exact improvement that it made.

According to the users who reported us regarding this patch, the size of this patch comes in kilobytes (KB) and remains under 1 MB.

This brings us to last November when users have been receiving 230KB system settings patch with improvements for ‘time zone’ for daylight saving time (DST).

This new patch also doesn’t seem to make any differential changes in the settings but we’ll try to dig more into this matter and keep you posted.
