Huawei becomes new mobile phone manufacturer to acquire a payment license

As recently, it was reported that Shenzhen Xunlian Zhifu Network Co., Ltd. has undergoing industrial and commercial changes. The major shareholder of the company, Shanghai Wo Ruiou Information Technology Co., Ltd., withdrawal from the Xunlian Zhipay, and afterward Huawei Technologies becomes its new sharer.

Now, Huawei’s shareholding ratio in Zhipay is 100%. In other words, Huawei has now successfully obtained a payment license and has successfully become another mobile phone manufacturer that has acquired a payment license after Xiaomi.

Following the new changes, Zhipay is replacing its authorities. The legal representative of Shenzhen Xunlian Zhipay Network Co., Ltd. (“Xunlian Zhipay”), Wang Guanrong has given resign and now Zheng Liying becomes the new legal representative of Xunlian Zhipay.

Wang Guanrong was the former Deputy Director of the Payment and Settlement Department of the People’s Bank of China. He served also as Deputy Governor of Shanghai Rural Commercial Bank, director, and general manager of Securities Communication Co., Ltd. Manager, director of Shanghai Fuyou Payment Service Co., Ltd., and many other positions in his career.

To be mentioned, Xunlian Zhipay is a third-party payment Chinese digital payment firm, which was established in 2013 with a registered capital of 200 million yuan.

This company serves in many fields including electronic payment, Internet payment, computer technology services, database and computer network services, online data processing and transaction business and, information service business.
