Huawei has recently applied for a graphical version of the “WENJIE” trademark. This has been classified as a scientific instrument. The trademark application number is 72438986 and the shape, which includes a shield with black and white elements. It also has the word “WENJIE” on the top left side. Although the Wenjie logo is not colored but is more like a Cadillac logo but taller and with different details.

Also, the company has applied for multiple “HARMOTOR” picture trademarks, which are internationally classified as scientific instruments, advertising sales, and means of transportation. For now, these trademarks are under evaluation. To be mentioned, except for the different letters, the two icons have little difference in shape.

Trademark:

According to information from the Trademark Office of the State Intellectual Property Office, AITO and its LOGO trademarks currently belong to Chongqing Likang Enterprise Management Consulting Co., Ltd. It is a subsidiary of SERES, while the Wenjie trademark seems to be owned by Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd.

Last month, 1842 of the issued trademark applications from the Chinese trademark department comprised multiple transfer certificates of the “Wenjie” trademark. The categories included 4, 9, 12, 16, and so on under products and scientific instruments, automobiles, vehicles, and others. All of them now belong to Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd.

Huawei and AITO:

In December 2021, Huawei and Chinese car maker, SERES jointly launched the AITO car brand. Huawei is also participating in the R&D and sales cooperation with SERES.

With the launch of this brand, AITO unveiled the first model – AITO M5, which later became a success. However, this year, the company expanded its car portfolio with M7 and planned an M9 vehicle for later this year. For now, the purpose of the new WENJIE graphical trademark remains unknown but we will wait for more information from Huawei.
