Huawei 5G phone case to unveil in June: Tipster

In the current scenario, Huawei has several new products under development belonging to different segments such as smartphones, wearables, and more. Now, a Weibo tipster discloses that Huawei is likely to release a 5G phone case for a 4G phone in June this year.

However, the tipster also added that it is not fully confirmed that the unveiling of the Huawei 5G phone case will happen at June Press Conference. Also, there is a possibility that it may launch in the third- quarter or later.

What is a 5G phone case?

Huawei’s 5G phone case is the back cover of the smartphone equipped with small circuits that provide 5G support to 4G smartphones. As we are familiar with, Huawei phones don’t have the capabilities to enable 5G because of RF chipset shortage issues. So, this will be a helpful and great solution for 4G phones.

Aside from the above information, the tipster has not revealed any additional details related to the upcoming 5G phone case. More information is yet to arrive and an official confirmation is still awaited.

Last month, the live images of the Huawei 5G phone case were leaked on Weibo which shows that it will initially release for the flagship P50 series. Following this, a blurry image of the 5G case also appeared that showcased the internal structure.

It seems that it has a SIM card insertion place and other small circuits. For your information, it is not known whether this 5G phone case will be supportive for only Huawei devices or can also be used for third-party phones.
