Honor Watch GS Pro getting new firmware update with optimizations

On September 4, Honor has launched the Honor Watch GS Pro along with Watch ES, MagicBook 14/15, and MagicBook Pro for global consumers.

Honor Watch GS Pro offers a rugged design, a whopping 25 days of battery life, MIL-STD-810G Rated (14 categories), GPS route back support, different Hiking and skiing modes, 100 plus workout modes, Sp02 monitoring, and Bluetooth calling directly on the watch.

In the same month of launch, Honor has released the first firmware update for Watch GS Pro that fixes some known issues and optimizes system stability that enhances device performance.

For further improvements, Honor is pushing a new firmware update for Watch GS Pro users that supports third-party apps and optimizes weather cards as well as the custom settings of pool length.

Note:

  1. The update is rolling out in batches so it may take some time/days to reach out to your wearables
  2. The update progress in the app is just for transferring the update package, it still needs to be installed on the watch for the update to complete.
  3. The watch needs to have at least 20% battery to update.

HOW TO UPDATE:

Connect the watch to your phone using the Huawei Health app, open the app, touch Devices, touch the device name, choose Firmware update, then follow the onscreen instructions to update your watch if there are any new updates.
