Honor View10/V10 in Europe receiving November, October and September security updates

Honor has started registering Honor View10 users for the latest EMUI 10 beta program in Asian countries. On the other hand, View10 in Europe is now receiving security patches.

The latest update for Honor View10 in some countries brings a giant patch containing both September and October 2019 security update and in some other places, it’s receiving the November 2019 security.

November 2019 security brings fixes to 3 critical, 15 high and 1 medium level of vulnerabilities on Huawei/Honor smartphones. The October 2019 security patch and applies fixes to 3 serious and 9 high levels of vulnerabilities found on Huawei/Honor smartphones.

 

Versions:

Honor View10 receiving November security update with EMUI version 9.1.0.358 and the size is 242MB. While the combined October + September patch comes with EMUI version 9.1.0.356 and has a huge size of 4.25GB.

This big update also fixes an issue where the camera would repeatedly re-focus when recording a video in a certain situation. To be mentioned, this fix is also rolling out as a standalone update in other regions.

Go to Settings > System > Software update > Check for Updates. If an update is available, it’ll ask if you want to download it.
