Honor V30 5G will be powered by Kirin 990, hints Honor President

Honor has recently announced that its V-series will now represent the specifically the 5G era and now the company has revealed some more information about its upcoming smartphone.

After the launch event on September 4, Honor President Zhao Ming told that Honor Vera30 or V30 will be coming by later this year. As Zhao hints the processor of this upcoming smartphone will be released at IFA 2019, which will be Kirin 990 but didn’t reveal the name by himself.

Although, Zhao hasn’t spilled much of the information about V30 smartphone.

According to the previous information, the Kirin 990 is a 5G modem integrated application processor, powered by 7nm FinFET Plus EUV technology and processed by TSMC.

The processor will first be used by the upcoming Huawei Mate 30 series and then the other flagship phone such V30.
