Honor officially confirmed its first foldable phone, Honor Magic V

Today, Honor has officially confirmed that its first foldable flagship phone – Honor Magic V will launch soon. Last month, it was reported that Honor is working on two foldable smartphones – Magic X and Magic V that may arrive later or sooner this year.

With the first teaser image, Honor presents the first quick look at the foldable phone’s design with hinge and flat edges as well as confirmed its name – Honor Magic V. Also, the company captioned this teaser with “The one you are looking forward to is in place”.

According to the previous information, Honor’s first folding phone will use the display provided by BOE and Visionox. Also, it is likely to equip with Qualcomm’s new Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chip because Honor list in few OEM’s to use new SD chipset.

On the other hand, the Magic V seems to have vertical inward fold. However, information discloses that it will sports 8-inch main screen, 6.5 inch secondary screen and more. At the moment, the full specifications and launch details of Honor Magic V is still unknown and has not revealed by the company. However, more information is yet to arrive.

The upcoming Honor’s folding phone will mark its presence soon in the foldable device market and will compete with brands including Huawei, OPPO, Xiaomi, and more. Moreover, it may arrive with cheaper price then flagship foldable from Huawei and Samsung.

Huawei P50 Pocket: flip-style folding phone:

Huawei is also going to debut its next foldable smartphone – Huawei P50 Pocket on December 23. It is the company’s first flip style phone that features vertical inward folding display. It will come with a 6.8-inch main display that folds inwards and the rear side as a 1-inch screen to show notifications and other quick notifications.
