We’re just a few days away from the unveiling but here we are ready to explore all of the information that we’ve to ramp up the excitement.
Huawei P50 Pocket will have a vertically foldable display that’s called the clamshell design. Previously, the company has launched Mate X2 that replicates a design similar to the Samsung Galaxy Fold 3 but the Mate X2 has minor improvements over its rival.
However, the P50 Pocket is a whole new concept, as its name says, it’s just a foldable adaptation of the Huawei P50 phone. The company will bring this device as a pocket-friendly version.
Moreover, the back of the phone has a pretty unique design that covers the phone with a diamond cut shell and is carved with a variant with gold color.
This phone has two displays, the primary screen folds inward in vertical design and measures 6.85-inch. On the other hand, the cover display has 1-inch in size and it can be used to see quick notifications as well as a viewfinder to capture high-quality selfies from the rear camera.
Huawei is likely to keep this phone limited to the Chinese market and it’ll come with a pre-installed HarmonyOS operating system. However, there’s no confirmation of what Huawei will do with its software ecosystem.
This upcoming foldable device features could equip a Kirin and later on the phone may switch to the Snapdragon version of the device. Still, the battery of the device remains unexplored.
The P50 Pocket brings the same camera as standard P50, there are two circles placed on the top left corner of the device, while only the above one is made to hold the camera system and the cover display goes on the second.
Huawei P50 Pocket will launch on December 23 and we will keep you posted on this matter.
