According to inputs that we’ve received, the new changes in the notifications seem to be a new feature – showing only the app icon along with the New Notification text and replaced the old detailed view. But the unusual disappearance of Music widget and other is still an issue that needs to be resolved.
But there’s an issue that originated after the user upgraded their Honor Band 5 and Honor Band 4 to the April software update.
According to our readers, the recent update for both Band 4 and Band 5 has stopped showing the notification detail on its arrival. Now the notification only shows the “New Notifications” label and app icon instead of SMS from a “Contact Name” or from Social networks.
Also, the music playback feature in Honor Band 5 is kept disappearing from the display.
Some of the users reported that these problem has not even resolved after a hard reset but we don’t have any information whether this problem is occurring for all users of the Band 4 and 5.
Currently, we’ll have to wait for the company’s response on this matter or a possible patch that may soon rollout via OTA.
More details of the April update linked below the image.
Huawei Watch GT Cyber smartwatch launching soon
New inputs reveal that there’s a new smartwatch – Huawei Watch GT Cyber that could launch soon. This launch will be hosted alongside the revealing of the Huawei P50 Pocket New with a stripped chipset.
This surprising information took place on the Weibo blog of the very famous @FactoryDirectorShiGuan. According to him, Huawei will hold one more conference by the end of this month. The date of this launch event might be near October 25.
If this info proves to be correct, and the Chinese manufacturer rotates his launch chair in the right position then we will grab the new Huawei P50 Pocket foldable variant within a few weeks.
Wait, that’s not it. The tipster has slid the information towards one more product. Alongside the new foldable version, Huawei could also introduce the unique Watch GT Cyber wearable product. That means, not only one but we could have two devices on the user’s ground.
Though it’s quite exciting news, there is no official statement from the company side over this matter. Since the new P50 Pocket is the next model running on the rumor surface, there are huge possibilities that we will catch a launch event at the end of this month.
Huawei P50 Pocket New Variant
The new P50 Pocket will equip the entry-level Snapdragon 778G processor. Yet, there will be no compromise in terms of performance. On the other hand, it will showcase almost the same features and characteristics as the other P50 Pocket models.
The folding device has already got the network certification with model number BAL-AL80. In comparison to previous models, this new version will be cheaper in terms of price. Thus, after the release, we could find more folding phone users in the market.
Apart from the foldable phone, the new term we heard today is the Cyber version of Watch GT. So far, we were looking into the topics related to the GT 4 devices. But here are some new additions to this subject.
Is this the same Watch GT 4? Or is it a separate version? And if this watch is a separate version, then what about the Watch GT 4 series? Don’t worry as we will bring the answer to these questions soon in front of you. Till then, you can have a detailed look over the Watch GT 4 series, below.
