The stable EMUI 9.1 update will be there next week but it could be available early on HiCare application. This update will add major improvements and fixes for bugs.
Previously, Honor was testing the EMUI 9.1 update for Honor 8X from last month and focused to release it by end of July but due to the problems in the last update, it postponed the release date.
For your information, the last software update for Honor 8X caused some serious problems to some smartphone owners. In the upcoming update, Honor is planning to fix those all identified bugs found in the last update for the device.
You can check for the update on HiCare application. Before you go into the following tutorial below, make sure your device has the HiCare app to its latest version. If there’s no HiCare app on your device, please go to the Google Play Store to download and install it, then follow the instructions below:
- Open the HiCare app
- Log in
- Select country/region
- Agree to the User Agreement and Privacy Notice
- Request update
- Checking for new system update
- Download and install.
Note: Sometimes it takes time to reach every smartphone – you can wait or you can reach to HiCare application for the latest software update.
