Honor 8A receiving June 2020 security update

Following its April update, Honor 8A now receiving a new EMUI upgrade that installs security patches released in June 2020 for better user experience.

Honor 8A features a 6-inch dewdrop display, single rear and front cameras, 3020mAh battery, and runs EMUI 9.1 but the device is not compatible with EMUI 10.

What is new in this update:

Security:

This update integrates the Android security patches released in June 2020 for improved system security.

JUNE 2020 SECURITY PATCH DETAILS:

The June 2020 security update brings Android patches from Huawei and Google, fixing different levels of exploits and issues within Huawei phones including 2 critical and 12 high levels of CVEs. There is no Medium and Low level of CVEs found.
