Honor 30 Series 5G will equip Kirin 990, Kirin 985 and Kirin 820 processors

Earlier this week, Kirin 985 chipset made its appearance on AI benchmark along with its architecture information and it now confirmed officially that Honor 30 series will include Kirin 985 chipset along with two other Kirin chips.

Honor has confirmed that Honor 30 series will be first to equip three processors – Kirin 990 5G, Kirin 985 and Kirin 820. All three of these chipsets are 5G enabled.

Featuring three chipsets also confirm that there will be three models in the series – Honor 30, Honor 30 Pro and Honor 30 Pro+.

Making it the following:

  • Honor 30 with Kirin 820 5G
  • Honor 30 Pro with Kirin 985 5G
  • Honor 30 Pro+ with Kirin 990 5G

However, there’s no additional information revealed by the company. Previous teaser and information revealed that the phone series will come with some new design elements compared to its predecessor as well as a custom 50MP camera system.

Honor 30 series will launch on April 15 in China.
