Honor 20i users started receiving May EMUI security update

Honor has pushed a new software update for Honor 20i users, this latest firmware for Honor 20i brings the latest security patches and system fixes released in May 2020.

Honor 20i runs EMUI 10, based on Android 10, and recently upgraded with VoWiFi calling in India.

So far, Honor has updated its Honor View20, Honor 10, 10 lite, Honor Play and Honor 9N with May 2020 security, and soon more devices will also receive this update.

What’s New:

Security: Integrates Android security patches released in May 2020 for improved system security.

Details: The May 2020 update installs security patches from Google fixing different levels of exploits and issues including 2 critical and 22 high and 2 Medium levels of CVEs.

Software Version:

Honor 20i receiving the May security update with EMUI 10.0.0.184 and a size of 94.99MB.

Note: Rollout confirmed on Indian Models and will expand to other countries.
