Yes, now we have our first look at the upcoming Huawei HarmonyOS 3.0 operating system for smartphone devices. It’s not a leak because it is coming directly from the Huawei Consumer Business Group CEO – Richard Yu.

So, without further ado, let’s dive into the first look at HarmonyOS 3.0 smartphone version.

The video begins with a home screen and the app snippets and app service widgets that have been improved. There are new options and animations that have been added to the service widgets as well. Speaking of animations, the transitions from one screen to another shows smooth actions.

Smart Folders has been one of the best features of the HarmonyOS 2.0 ecosystem and in HarmonyOS 3.0, you will be able to use this feature with a new single-column layout, while the feature previously been available with three columns and row layout.

To be mentioned, the HarmonyOS 3.0 app icons and widget background shapes have been slightly rounded than HarmonyOS 2.0

HarmonyOS 3.0 will further enhance the user experience and there may be improvements added to the atomic services and app snippets feature. On the other hand, we’re still waiting to see more about HarmonyOS 3.0 control panel and notification center.
