Huawei is set to officially launch the world’s third-largest mobile operating system with expanded platform support such as smartphones, tablets, smart wearables, and more. HarmonyOS 2.0. The company is working on this for 5 years and the first time it was announced at Huawei Developer Conference 2019.

Since then, Huawei’s developer team is working tirelessly to add new changes to the HarmonyOS user interface and features that user’s life easier and released HarmonyOS 2.0 at HDC 2020. To avoid the issues, the company has started the HarmonyOS 2.0 mobile dev beta testing program for limited device users.

To date, Huawei has released three test builds of HarmonyOS 2.0, and phase one enrolled devices have already started receiving HarmonyOS 2.0 mobile dev beta 3. These devices include P40, Mate 30, and MatePro series models.

Users after taking the taste of HarmonyOS beta 3 test build on their respective devices, began measuring the difference between EMUI 11 and HarmonyOS 2.0 from different perspectives.

Yesterday, a comparison video was streamed on YouTube channel @Atnarr Tech that brings the live app fluency testing of MatePad Pro working on HarmonyOS and Mate 40 RS Porche Design on EMUI 11.

Some users can’t believe it at the moment but the test results were amazing. The HarmonyOS 2.0 app performance was really surprising and much better than Android 10 based EMUI 11.
