HarmonyOS Gallery app 11.0.16.430 version open for testing

Huawei has started testing the HarmonyOS version of the Gallery app with version 11.0.16.430. This testing event has been initiated in the process of checking new features that will improve the overall user experience.
According to the information, HarmonyOS Gallery App 11.0.16.430 version brings new features including automatic smart classification of photos and videos. Adding to this, the feature allows smart identification and special moments captured in your phone.
Furthermore, the update will allow cloud synchronization of photos and media in your account. This enables multi-device sharing and a user can view those synchronized photos on different devices via cloud services.
HarmonyOS Gallery App 11.0.16.430 beta version also brings a unique new feature of hiding albums and individual photographs.
These features work as:
Hide Album:
Enter album tab, tap on the top right corner, and select hide album. If you want to unhide the album, you need to switch to the album view in the hidden album, enter the album grid page, click the upper right corner menu hide.
Hide Single Photo:
While selecting a photo or multiple photos, you need to click on the lower right corner of the photo menu to hide them.
Furthermore, the Recently Deleted menu has also been restricted with this testing version and established this option to a new place.
According to the testing notification, this version of Huawei Gallery is under testing for the following models:
- Huawei P30 series
- Huawei Mate 30 series
- Huawei Nova 6 series
- Huawei MatePad Pro (Kirin 990)
Currently, this version of HarmonyOS is testing for the Chinese consumers and you will need to wait to get this version on board once the testing phase completes.

Huawei AITO M5 and M5 EV will get HarmonyOS 3

During the Huawei P60 series launch event, Huawei Smart Car Business Cheif, Yu Chengdong announced that all AITO smart car models will get HarmonyOS 3.0 operating system by the end of this month.
HarmonyOS 3 for these AITO M5 cars will bring new features including a super home screen and smart car search. The net recommendation score of Huawei M5 car owners is 86.4%
Huawei also announced that the M5 and M5 EV high-end autonomous driving versions will launch in April, which won’t need high-precision maps. Yu Chengdong said that Huawei should be far ahead in the field of the smart cockpit and smart driving.

Today, Huawei launched HarmonyOS 3.1 and Huawei P60 series is the first smartphone to pack this new HarmonyOS operating system with a brand lock screen feature.
