February 2022 security update goes live for Enjoy 20 Pro 5G
Huawei has kicked off a new HarmonyOS software update for Enjoy 20 Pro 5G smartphone that brings February 2022 security patch for improved system security. This update is rolling in batches therefore it may take some time to reach you.
The February 2022 update for Huawei Enjoy 20 Pro 5G landed on the ground with HarmonyOS version 2.0.0.222, which is the follow-up 2.0.0.221 version. For enhanced system security, it is recommended you install this update as soon as it arrives on your device.
Furthermore, if you don’t want to wait for OTA update notifications. Then, you can check the updates manually through the phone’s settings or the My Huawei app by following the steps mentioned below.
One thing to be noted, there is no other changes have been made to the software system besides system security. But, the installation of the regular security update is a mandatory part, which is beneficial for user privacy.

Keep in mind:
Please charge your smartphone at least 30% and above. Maintain sufficient storage and make sure your internet connection doesn’t get disconnected. Also, make a backup of your important data to prevent data loss. However, the update won’t delete your phone’s data.
How to update your phone manually:
Just simply, go to Settings on your smartphone, then tap on system & updates and software updates. Afterward, tap on CHECK FOR UPDATES and wait for the update to appear on the screen. Then, hit the download and install option as well as don’t forcefully shut down the phone until the process gets completed.
Alternatively, go to the My Huawei app, if not installed download it from AppGallery. Open the update section and follow on-screen steps to download and install the latest firmware update.
