HarmonyOS app ecosystem development is most important thing in 2024: Huawei CEO

Huawei Consumer Business Group CEO Yu Chengdong has recently said that the HarmonyOS native app ecosystem development is the most important thing in 2024. One can eagerly look forward to the upcoming Huawei event to witness innovation.

Yu Chengdong reshared the HDC 2024 event teaser post on Weibo this morning. The executive mentioned some major sessions that will take place on June 21.

Adding a caption, the Huawei CEO said that building the HarmonyOS native app ecosystem is something very significant. The company expects that more application developers will be a part of this new ecosystem and collect better services for users.

“Building Hongmeng native application ecosystem is our most important thing this year. We look forward to developers and partners gathering with us at #HDC2024# in June to witness the new Hongmeng ecosystem!”

Huawei Developer Conference 2024 event is not only a platform for developers but also a door for other users to know about HarmonyOS software and its ongoing activities.

With the onset of this year, Huawei opened the developer preview build of the HarmonyOS NEXT for developers. The company also joined hands with several app developers and partners in the meantime, expanding HarmonyOS ecosystem in China.
