HarmonyOS 2.0 UX upgrade for Honor Smart TVs will rollout in December, comes with mobile interface features

On September 16, Honor has confirmed that the Honor Smart TVs will get HarmonyOS 2.0 UX update in December. This new UX will bring a lot of new chnages in the user inferface to make the user experience easy.

The UX 2.0 will include features similar to a mobile interface including pull down quick settings panel with different switch buttons. Smart features are also a part of this new UX change such as focusing on common user application such as fitness, AI KIDS more. Moreover, UX 2.0 will also add multitasking and multi-device control to manage connected devices.

Last year at Huawei Developer Confernece (HDC) 2019, Honor unveiled Honor Smart Vision TVs and was first Huawei device to equip HarmoynOS operation system. At HDC 2020, Huawei unveiled HarmonyOS 2.0, it comes with extended platform support for tablets, smart wearables, in car system and even smartphones.

Adding these new features to the existing Honor Smart TVs will sure increase the device’s overall performance and provide a smoother and mobile like user expereince.
