Great Wall Motor adapts Huawei HiCar 4.0 system for multiple EVs

Today, Great Wall Motor announced that it has adapted to the Huawei HiCar 4.0 system for a variety of its smart car models. The automaker will introduce new EV products equipped with the respective solution for a seamless driving experience.

Huawei HiCar 4.0 system offers a fluent integration between phones and smart cars. It accompanies upgraded features and improved services for automobiles with the help of IoT (Internet of Things) and human-computer interaction mechanisms.

To deliver these facilities to customers, the Great Wall Motor firm now adapted to the Huawei HiCar 4.0 system. The company further says that it has completed the development of HiCar 4.0 products on multiple electric vehicle models.

“Great Wall Motors worked closely with Huawei’s Smart Mobility Department and was the first to put it on the car, completing the development and adaptation of HUAWEI HiCar 4.0 products on multiple vehicle models.”

The Chinese tech giant has imposed several significant features on the HiCar 4.0, which is based on the HarmonyOS 4.0 operating system. To begin with, the app supports one-time pairing with auto-connection. It also connects the mobile app to the car efficiently.

Ahead, it offers a safe interaction with a simple interface and contains mutual assistance for devices. Next, it brings a car card display, mobile phone navigation, music, schedule information, and important information in one touch, which is very convenient.

To make things more simple, just shake your phone and the address will get transferred to the car machine. This will automatically initiate navigation instead of going through multiple steps.

Moreover, the highly acclaimed Parallel Vision on Huawei phones and tablets can also be used in the car. Besides, the horizontal screen car machine can also perfectly adapt to the mobile phone application.
