Finally! Huawei EMUI 12 confirmed as the next major software rollout for global phone users
Finally! Huawei has confirmed EMUI 12 as the next major software rollout for the global Huawei smartphone users, which is great news from our perspective. Even though the rollout will begin in 2022, people around the world can still wait since it includes a number of different devices.
Interestingly, Huawei EMUI 12 as a major software also covers smartphones such as Huawei Y9 Prime 2019 and Y9s and Y8s. These phones were skipped with EMUI 11 software update and only running software version at the lowest level.
According to Huawei, EMUI 12 will start to rollout in the first half of 2022. However, the upgrade expansion process is likely to continue until the second half of the year. Meanwhile, the beta testing of the top eligible models – Mate 40 and P40 series may begin next month but we need to take confirmation from the company.
Meanwhile, we’ve noticed that a bunch of smartphones such as Y9a and Y7p has not been mentioned in the list. That happened due to the availability of those devices that is limited to the European market or other markets. Therefore, we may also have to wait to get this confusion solved.
EMUI 12 comes with a brand new user interface that looks intuitive and brings an easy look for the consumers. The latest EMUI version has brand new animations that provide you with the best user experience ever on any of the past EMUI software.
Furthermore, the new addition of the Control Panel gives you the best available solution in terms of all in one approach and gathers a different series of options in a single place. This includes a media controller – WiFi, Bluetooth, and more. There’s also a feature called Device+ that helps you manage all of your smart connected devices simultaneously without requiring any third-party software.
The EMUI 12 surely comes with a new user experience and is designed for the next-gen smartphone owners. While mixing the vibe of HarmonyOS without leaving the Android base.
