Huawei releases monthly HarmonyOS software updates for its devices integrated with the latest security patch, features, and optimizations. Recently, Huawei has shared the upgraded list of devices that will receive the February 2022 monthly firmware update.

The February 2022 list of devices that are eligible to grab the monthly HarmonyOS software update belongs to Mate and P-series. However, the HarmonyOS software is limited to the Chinese market and soon launch in the global market.

The regular rollout of the software update level ups the software system and fixes different levels of common vulnerabilities as well as boosts the performance of the system. For your information, the February 2022 HarmonyOS security patch resolves a total of 42 CVEs found in the latest software system.

When will HarmonyOS launch for global users?

According to recent information, Huawei officials mentioned that the company is providing HarmonyOS experience with the latest EMUI 12 software system for global users. In addition, the officials also cited that Huawei thinks that it’s too early to launch HarmonyOS for global smartphones. However, more information on this matter has yet to come.
